Anchorpoint Shopping Centre

老爹 manage to secure a booth at Anchorpoint Shopping Centre last saturday from 1pm to 3pm to do the Love Infinity CDs promotion. We manage to sell 21 CDs at Anchorpoint Shopping Centre. Special thanks to the management of Anchorpoint Shopping Centre for giving us the space to sell the CDs.



We are very happy to attend another event at Ngee Ann Civic Plaza last saturday (02 August 2008) at 7pm to 9pm. The various artistes sang the songs inside the Charity CDs. We are also given permission to set up a booth to sell our Charity CDs, and we manage to sell 8 CDs. Thanks Mr Desmond Moey for allowing us to promote the Charity Songs and also giving us a chance to support Beijing 2008 Paralympic Roadshow.

Reddifusion Interview

老爹 brought Louis and Hazel to Reddifusion to do promotion for Love Infinity Album on 23 July 2008 at 11am! It was so early that both the artistes look so sleepy when they meet 老爹 outside the radio station gate.

Anyway, we had done a door to door sale at Ang Mo Kio last saturday from 3pm to 5pm with Hazel, YY Chen, Shi Ru, Vencent, Amos (Teenage Icon), Tai An (BOV), myself and 老爹. But I left halfway as was not feeling well during the sale. We had visited around 5 blocks in total and manage to sell 10 sets of CDs to the residents. Most important, more people is getting to know about our project.

Serence (SOUL's Manager) brought SOUL to 972 FM Radio Interview yesterday (wednesday) and they also promoted our Charity CD there.

Radio 1003 FM is inviting us for the first radio interview next wednesday at 8.30am (morning) and there will be a second interview for the night program as well in Radio 1003 FM.

Yesterday the Press Conference and the launch of the Singles CD had ended successfully at Vivocity. I would like to thanks all the artistes for putting up such a wonderful show. 老爹 will be updating us very soon on how many CDs we sold yesterday.

If you miss the show yesterday, do not miss our upcoming show, media and radio interview. Yesterday Keely, Zheng Ning, Zi Jie (Campus Superstar) and Levin (Singapore Idol) volunteer to sell the CDs around Vivocity. Myself and 老爹 are impressed by their kind action. Afterwhich most of the artistes from various competition also join in to sell the CDs as well. 老爹 say that Mavis (Be A Star) sold the most CDs. :)

Star Idol Joey, Nicholas and Leann, no doubt they are not singers, but they had done their best to sing on the stage LIVE yesterday. Also Teenage Icon Ming Bridge and Marina Bohari also say their encouraging statement on stage to the people of Sichuan. It was a busy day yesterday! SOUL and Chen Yi Yuan have so many supporters coming down to purchase the CDs, thanks to all their supporters!

Elson and Hazel also sang two songs on stage, and afterwhich they join the rest of the M5 Royal Artistes and M5 Performing Artiste Group to promote the CDs on stage and around Vivocity. And not forgetting that we have to thanks Vivocity for their support in this project by sponsoring us the venue!

Dear all, 爱无极限 EP Album will be releasing on Monday 7 July 2008 / 5pm at Vivocity Central Court! Be the first one to be there to grab this album and support the people in Sichuan. Each CD is selling at $15 nett and all the proceed from the sale of the CD will go straight to Sichuan through TOUCH Community Services.

All participating artistes are to attend the final rehearsal at Edmund's Cafe located at Orchard Hotel level one on Sunday 06 July 2008 at 4pm.

All participating artistes are also to made reservation for the VIP seats through 老爹 for Monday Media Conference if your family members is attending to support you! The seats is based on first come first serve basis. Do invite all your friends and supporters to grace this event on Monday 7 July 2008!

Geraldine and Zijie

Geraldine and Zijie! I believe most of you know them very well. They are very fun-loving person to work with. Zijie is very playful and naughty during the photoshoot, but he cheers up everybody in the photoshoot. As for Geraldine, she look COOL when we first met, after knowing her, I m impressed by her professionalism in the whole recording. She is good and her vocal is powerful too! Hope to work with all of you in near future! :)

The three co-producers presently working very hard to listen to all the mixing version of the song to ensure that every part are nicely done, and I would say that this is not a easy job as it is very tiring.

7 July 2008 @ Vivocity Central Court

Press Conference

The final mixed of 爱无极限 is ready and we are sending for mastering very soon! Our video also ready, now we are awaiting for some photo from Sichuan taken by TOUCH Community Services, as we want to put it in the video.

The design of the CD Album cover is ready. We had recieved quite a number of kind sponsors supporting this project. Hereby really thanks all the kind sponsors. Of course, there will be more sponsors coming into this project as well.

老爹 had also secured Vivocity Central Court to hold our Press Conference on 07 July 2008 at 5pm. We hope that all the artistes and guests will attend this outdoor Press Conference. Of course, this Press Conference is open to all public members and every of you can purchase the CD at Vivocity Central Court during our Press Conference. :)

Singapore Red Cross is very kind to donate two Red Cross Bear for auction, and all the fund raise from the auction of the two bears will be donated to Sichuan through TOUCH Community Services.

Police Licensing Division

Hi everybody, we had been issued with a license permit from Police Cantonment Complex - Police Licensing Division, for the funds raising program that we are currently doing. We are one of the approved companies that can do funds raising for Sichuan. Becos presently there are many people making use of this situation to made money which is very wrong doing!

Our license of funds raising collection will be expired on 20 July 2008, but we will be extending it until August 2008. We hope to raise more funds for the people in Sichuan to rebuild their house to provide them a shelter and carry on with their daily routine. The rebuild project will take many years and let hope with our combined effort from the various artistes and finalists, plus our kind sponsors and media, we can raise more funds for them.

Look at the three Co-Producers, they are so stressed and so serious! The sound engineer Wayne also very serious looking! :) Maybe all of them are tired already after so many days of recording and photoshoot. Anyway, good effort and thanks to all of you!

爱无极限 (Sample)

This is a sample version after the recording yesterday. We are sending it for mixing tomorrow! It should be ready by this sunday! Then after the mixing, we will send it for mastering! So excited and that why I upload the sample version to share with all of you!

Co-Producers and Nine Artistes

老爹 took the photo at the studio yesterday. It is so nice to work with all the artistes around Singapore. Geraldine and Yi Yuan is nice and not proud, they are humble and understanding, I really like to work with them so much. At least they dun look down on our management. Emilee and Tai An is very professional and hardworking, they also stay until late night to help us with the harmonising. Not forgetting my two performing artistes, Shi Ru and Vencent. Also our three co-producers Elson, Hazel and Amos for their effort and time. Last but not this, we have to thanks Wayne for his time as we over-run during the past three days of recording. And yesterday we recorded the song for 12 hours with the nine artistes, but Dennis actually brought us some snacks and drinks becos we forgotten to eat while recording. :)

Recording is Completed

Finally we completed our recording! It was a very tired and stressful recording. Three days of hard work in the making of video and song recording, especially today! Do you know that I m writing this blog at 4.25am (Wednesday)? I must specially say a BIG "Thank You" to the eight artistes that do the harmonising! They are Elson, Hazel, Geraldine, Yi Yuan, Shi Ru, Vencent, Emilee and Tai An. All of them was suffering inside the studio for 12 hours, waiting for the harmonising and adlip! I can see that most of them start to fall sick due to the terrible weather and insufficient rest during the past few days.

I must thanks Wayne, Rina and the kind female assistance from Home Studio. They are great as they help us throughout the whole recording. Without them, we cannot finish the whole recording so fast. It was a great experience for Elson, Hazel and Amos, as this is the first time three of them co-produce the song with me. Good start for the three of them to be a producer. Remember to work harder in future!

Anyway, I believe most of the artistes today had slim down alot due to the free sweating session. :) Once again, thanks every artistes that help us today in the recording, especially those that stay until 2am just now! Sorry to let you guys waste taxi fare, and I promise we must really get together to have a good meal soon! Lastly, more update coming your way!

Ming Bridges and Marina Bohari

Just back home from recording today. I must really thanks the professional video team for their time and effort to made us a nice MTV for our charity song. No doubt our recording time is long and tiring, but every artistes and finalists understand our situation. Really sorry if you waited for so long today and some of them did not even record the song, but I promise tomorrow we will finish it! 大家加油!

Today, we have two artistes from Music and Movement taking part in our song, they are Ming Bridges and Marina Bohari. They sang very well, despite the fact that they cannot speak chinese, but in order to help the people in Sichuan, they done their part, and not forgetting Awi from SOUL. Anyway, I love Ming Bridges's vocal tone, she is good and I also given her some tips on how to showcase her beautiful tone while recording. Her mummy also very supportive towards our project. Thanks mummy!

Tomorrow is going to be the last day of song recording and video making. But it is still not the end yet, as we have to send it for mixing and mastering. A long way to go and hopefull everything can be ready by end of this month! Mean to say, our CD must be ready!

Est. 1000 set of Artiste's Photo

Today we had finish the UW Magazine Home Interior Interview with Hazel and Louis. We start at 9am with Hazel and 1pm with Louis. Whole interview and photoshoot end at 4pm. Afterwhich, went for a quick lunch with Louis and his mum. :)

The interview is quite fun, Hazel's parents prepare snack after the photoshoot for the reporter and photographer. Hazel's home is BIG and there is a fish pond at her house! Louis's house is also special. I believe all of you know that he is from Superhost, but never did I expect that he is so talented in instruments, and he can SING quite well! Everything went smoothly today! I also went down to The Colourful Faces Studio to select the photo for our charity album. So many artiste's photos until I have slight headaches after go through 1000 over photo within an hour with Lisa and Dean.

Tomorrow is the second day for song recording and video recording. Going to be another tiring day for everybody. Anyway, I will upload some of the nice photo from the photo I selected after my recording tomorrow night. CHEER!!!

UW Magazine (优一周)

A good news for everybody. UW Magazine (优一周) will be going to Louis 伍洛毅 (超级主持人) and Hazel 林思彤 (M5皇室艺人)'s house for interview. UW Magazine will be covering a write-up on their home interior (名人家居) and their lifestyle. Of couse, they will be asking the two artistes on their experience involving in 爱无极限中国四川拯灾慈善单曲. Their interview will be on this sunday, which is just two days away. Hazel and Louis, 加油! 加油!

Well, there will be more media coverage to come for every artiste involving in this charity project! Do keep yourself free for any of our upcoming publicity events!

Third day of Photoshoot

Another tired but fun day! First of all, I saw Silver from Project Superstar doing the photoshoot and she is sick, no voice at all. Then I saw Campus Superstars coming for the shoot too. They work very hard for this project, and most of them had to sacrifice their time just for the recording and photoshoot, but most important all of them are doing Singapore proud by helping the people in Sichuan! Zijie, Geraldine and Yi Yuan have to work, Zhen Ning and Keely having JC exam, Javin is in army. Really thanks all of you for your effort!

Afterwhich I saw Emilee, Jasmine, Levin and Daphne from Singapore Idol coming for the photoshoot as well. They are very powerful singers! They also know how to pose well infront of the camera, and their shoot is very fast! Terence didnt join them today but he will be coming in the next slot which is on Monday. I enjoy meeting Daphne as she always smiling and carry her camera around with her. Her cute smile will brighten up your day! Today is the first day I met Emilee, she is so nice and polite. Waiting to work with her in recording next tuesday. Singapore Idols, you guys are great people to work with!

Most of them had done their photoshoot, and now most important is the recording of the song and the music video, as we only 50% done only! Time is running short and we had to rush ourself to meet the timeline.

Lastly, I just want to share with everybody that the photo that took by The Colourful Faces Studio is very nice! We ended our photoshoot today at 11pm. So sorry that Vecce (Makeup Shop) had to stay till so late, but she didnt complain and she continue with the makeup and styling for all the artistes, she is very professional. One of the best makeup artist I ever met in my life. :) Also Lisa and Dean for their hardwork in the photoshoot!

First day of Recording

Yesterday was the second day for photoshoot. Sorry for not able to be there to support the other rest of the artistes, becos today also the first day for song recording, plus video recording.

I heard from Geng Whye 老爹 that their photoshoot went well and must really thanks Lisa and Dean for their support, also Vecce for her nice make-up and styling for all the artistes.

Yesterday when I step into the recording studio, I got a surprise becos the video team is already there with the full set-up. You will be very impressed by their professional videography and I can see that most of the artistes enjoy doing the video recording, especially the artistes from Campus Superstar, Singapore Idol and Star Search. Wayne and Rina from Home Studio also very helpful in our song recording! They are very nice people!

The first day of recording went well, and we manage to record 70 over tracks within six hours. Must thanks Elson and Hazel for co-produce the song, and Dennis for guiding the various artistes. The artistes from Superband, SuperHost, S-Pop had done well, and all the rest of the other artistes as well.

Daphne is very cute and fun-loving during the recording, Jasmine maximise all her strength becos of the special request (singing style) from us. Louis and Jae can sing quite well, despite that they are Emcee and Writer. Two powerful male vocalists, Terence and Lavin! Marcus and Pris also sweating becos this is their first time singing, becos they are more specialise in acting. Felicia and Tai An also done well yesterday! Overall, every of them are special and hardworking!

Next monday is our second and third recording, and tomorrow is our last day of photoshoot! But think we will have to cater another extra day for photoshoot, as we have too many artistes joining this project! I love all of them, becos they are helpful and kind in heart! Thanks all of you for your encouragement and support! :)

Touch Community Services

We are very happy to get the support from Touch Community Services for this Sichuan Earthquake funds raising project. All artistes, we have to do our best to gather as many funds as possible to help Sichuan. The rebuild of Sichuan may take many, many years. They need all our supports to rebuild their home. Attached below is the letter from Touch Community Services.

Recording in Progress

Yeterday was the first day of the photoshoot, various artistes from Spop, SuperHost, Be A Star, Teenage Icon and M5 Performing Artiste Group was there to do the album photoshoot. Every of them are so eager to help the people in China Sichuan. Myself and Geng Whye explain to them on what Touch Community Services had done at Sichuan, and we are quite upset when they told us that there are still alot of people homeless and do not even have a shelter. Guys and Gals, we have to do our very BEST to help them.

Today we are staring the song recording at 3pm all the way to 9pm, I m very excited about it. This is the first day for recording and we have two more days to go! Elson, Hazel and myself will be producing this charity song, together with all the various artistes and finalists contributing idea and suggestion to the production of this song, also we will be doing video recording today as well! It will be a super busy day, but it will be worth doing it for the people of Sichuan.

Photoshoot and Recording

Today myself and Geng Whye (老爹) went to Touch Community Services for discussion on this China Sichuan fund raising project. They are very supportive and show great interest in our project. At the same time, we also have two local artistes (Singapore Red Cross Bear Ambassadors) participating in this song. This project is getting more supports from the sponsors, media and organisation.

老爹 had made all the arrangement on photoshoot and recording with all the artistes and finalists today. For those that havent get back to 老爹 on the timing and date, please kindly sms him soon! Time is running short! Anyway, Joanne is no longer in this project as 老爹 want to take over and supervise it himself. We thanks Joanne for her kind assistance for the past one week. Also, we urged all artistes and finalists not to give away your contact to strangers as we recieve information that some of the outsiders claimed that they are part of the organising team. Anyway, our team main contact person should be Ng Geng Whye and William Soh.

Good News to share with everybody! We will be making a Music Video for this song as well! The video team will be there at the recording studio for three days to record down all of you! Be in your best outfit and some basic makeup too.

Today is a very happy day! After meeting with most of the artistes and finalists, we had done a rehearsal on the new arrangement music with all of them. Special thanks to 黄康淇 (music arranger) who had rush out the music arrangement for us!

I would like to thanks all the artistes and finalists for making the effort to attend the meeting and briefing today. Also I would like to thanks M5 Performing Artiste Group (Jennifer, Johnny, Shi Ru, Vencent, Joel and David) for the pre-order of 60 sets CD Single 爱无极限, which mean we had collected $900 for the people in Sichuan! This is a good start and thanks to M5 Performing Artiste Group for their kind effort in asking around their friends to pre-order this CD Single.

The CD Single will be sold at a flat rate of S$15.00. The entire collection from the sale of the 10,000 copies will go to the people of Sichuan through Singapore Red Cross Society. Through this project, we hope to raise at least S$150,000.00 for the people of Sichuan.

For those that unable to attend the meeting today due to works and events, we will keep you posted on the information during the photo-shoot day itself. Remember to keep us inform on your date that you want to go for photo-shoot for the CD Single. Make-up and styling will be provided for all of you! You can also do your own make-up and styling if you want. :)

温情满人间

We will be doing one performance show at Nyonya Bistro on 07 June 2008, from 6pm to 10pm. It will also be one of the funds raising program that we planned as part of Sichuan Project. We hope to raise as much funds as possible through all our events in the month of June and July 2008 for the people in Sichuan.



Geng Whye - The boss of Nyonya Bistro sponsored the venue for us. In addition, he agreed to donated 100% of all the desserts that the audiences ordered on 07 June to Sichuan through The Singapore Red Cross. Each dessert will be selling at $2 and you can donate more than $2 and put it inside the donation tin provided by The Singapore Red Cross.

M5 Royal Artistes and Students will be performing in this event and we hope that everybody will come for the show as well. Most importantly, bring along your friends to support us too!

The Colourful Faces & Makeup Shop

Dear all,

The photoshoot for the Singles had been schedule on 11, 12, 13 June 2008 at The Colourful Faces Studio, daily from 12pm to 8pm.

Each of you have to bring two sets of your best outfit, and do avoid red or shocking bright colour. Our base colour is White for the first set of outfit and the other set you may chose any design that you like. Makeup and Styling are also provided at the studio by Makeup Shop. You also can do your own makeup if you want. :)

Do kindly sms me or Joanne Tan (Artiste Office) on your date and time for the photoshoot and we will made arrangement for you.

First Meeting 08 June 2008

Dear Artistes and Friends,

Our first meeting will be schedule on 08 June 2008 (Sunday) 1pm at Nyonya Bistro located at No 33 Kampong Bahru Road, Outram Park MRT Exit F, just along the main road of the shop houses facing the carpark SGH Hospital.

All participating artistes and friends are to attend the meeting as we are going to update every of you on the recording, photoshoot, press conference, media and radio interview, public appearance for the upcoming Charity Singles. The meeting will start at 1pm sharp and it will end latest by 2.30pm. We welcome every of you to contribute idea and suggestion during the meeting.

As per discussion with Geng Whye (my working partner), we will be giving every single artiste a page featuring yourself and a few line of encouraging sentence (not more than 100 chinese texts) for the people of Sichuan. Do start to prepare your sentence and give it to us on this sunday during the meeting.

Do not be late for this sunday meeting and the attire is casual. Hope to see all of you there! :)

New Members

Today after I did some updating on this new blog, a few of the supporting partners call me and ask: "Who is Veron Yang?". As such I posted the photo below for everybody to see NOW! Anyway, we have three more new members joining us in this charity song recording, they are Averil Chan and Mag Yeo from 绝对Superstar 2. Thanks to Veron as she is the one that link up for me to get three more artistes to sing a part for this charity song.

Also, I must thanks Koh Zheng Ning (校园Superstar 2), Jasmine Tye (Singapore Idol 2), Nicholas Teo (明星偶像), Marcus Chan (才华横溢出新秀) for inviting their friends to join us in this charity song recording. We are hoping to see more people from various competitions joining us to raise more funds for Sichuan Earthquake.

Sichuan Earthquake Funds Raising

This is the first blogging since the start of this project on 25 May 2008. I must really thanks Veron Yang (Project Superstar 2) for giving me this good suggestion, becos we can keep every single participating artiste update on our progression, without always emailing or calling them individually.



I must also thank Ng Geng Whye for assisting and advising me in this meaningful project. All the sales of the Singles CD will be donated to Sichuan through The Singapore Red Cross. Each CD will be sold at $15 nett through our sponsor's channel and our event. We have a target of $150,000.00 from the sales of 10,000 copies of CDs. Let put our hand together to make this project a success!

I must also thanks Kelly Chan from The Singapore Red Cross, Jasmin Chong from Mediacorp, Sam Ng from SPH, and many more sponsors and media for supporting this Sichuan project. I m thankful to all of you becos without all of you, this project can never start at all.
